SPA/RAC is issuing a call for consultation to develop a guidance document that will serve as a basis for more effective and sustainable management of Marine and Coastal Protected Areas (MCPAs) in Tunisia.

The study to be conducted involves an analysis of the various forms of MCPA management, as defined by the law 49-2009 on the creation of Marine and Coastal Protected Areas. The objective is to provide guidance for sustaining successful experiences.

The primary beneficiary of the study is the Coastal Protection and Management Agency (APAL).
