As part of the GEF Fish EBM Med project, SPA/RAC launches a call for consultation to improve national capacities for integrating data on commercial fisheries, incidentally caught vulnerable species, pollution impacts and sustainable use of marine ecosystem services into wider Good Environmental Status processes.

SPA/RAC Experts are invited to:

• Analyze links between IMAP indicators (pollution, biodiversity, fisheries, etc.), in collaboration with the GFCM Secretariat.
• Compare IMAP and GFCM reporting frameworks to assess data availability and required improvements.
• Conduct a gap analysis on beneficiary countries' capacities to integrate fisheries and vulnerable species data.
• Develop guidelines for including this data in national monitoring programmes to support Good Environmental Status (GES).
